Dr. Scott Hansen Brings Decades of Care to Every Appointment

For nearly three decades, Dr. Scott Hansen has been diligently serving the Gresham community by providing exceptional dental care. With his insatiable thirst for knowledge, Dr. Hansen proudly considers himself a “continuing education junkie.” Since graduating from the renowned Oregon Health Science University, he completes an average of 100 hours annually, far exceeding the state’s biennial requirement of 20 hours.

Dr. Hansen’s commitment to his profession extends beyond his clinical practice. He is a member of the American Dental Association and a past board member of the Oregon Dental Association. He is also serving as the ODA’s secretary and treasurer. His lifelong association with the Academy of General Dentistry further underscores his dedication to comprehensive dental care.

Dr. Hansen’s leadership and contributions have been recognized within the dental community. He is a former president of the Oregon Association of General Dentistry (OAGD) and currently serves as the president of the OAGD Foundation. In 2017, the OAGD honored him as its Dentist of the Year.

I have had a fair share of dental work throughout my life, and I was blown away with my experience at Hansen Family Dental. The staff was friendly and outgoing and on top of that, Dr. Kyle went out of his way to make my experience pleasant and pain free. He was incredible at making shots almost painless. I am personally pretty picky when it comes to my dentist and I give them five stars. My hygienist was very thorough and Dr. Kyle took the time to look at my mouth, x-rays and address my concerns.

My son had to go back in to get fillings and they were able to work with my schedule and make the process as quick and painless as possible. I am happy I found this office and would highly recommend them to all my friends!
